Philip Eliot, Member, Board of Directors
Philip Eliot is a Principal of Paladin Capital Group focused on investments in technology-driven companies. He has a history of exceeding expectations for performance and timeliness.
Prior to joining Paladin, he was a Vice President at Core Capital Partners, where he led investments in software and infrastructure companies including SilverStorm Technologies. Mr. Eliot began his career as a consultant at Dean & Company, working in the telecommunications and utilities industries as well as the firm’s private equity practice. Mr. Eliot received an A.B. in Physics with Honors from Harvard University.
Amir Husain, Member, Board of Directors
Amir Husain has been associated with VDIworks for more than 10 years. Amir Husain has served as a Chief Executive Officer for VDIworks. Prior to that, Amir was CTO at ClearCube where he spearheaded the strategic development of cutting-edge centralized desktop computing solutions and products.
Amir founded infraManage, a systems management software company that merged with ClearCube in 2002. Earlier, he was also a founder of Kurion, a Web services company and inventor of its proprietary technology. Kurion was later acquired by iSyndicate. Amir is the inventor of ClearCube’s patented and proprietary Distributed Computing Infrastructure and he holds more than a dozen filed and awarded patents and has authored numerous papers published in international conferences and journals.
Amir holds degrees in Computer Sciences from the Punjab Institute of Computer Sciences and the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Board of Advisors at several Texas-based technology startups, and Alif Laila Children’s Educational Society, a non-profit organization based in Lahore, Pakistan which is funded by about 30 international institutions including the United Nations.
